Africa-Press – Angola. Luanda – The Government of Angola authorizes the practice of combat sports since last Sunday after the suspension imposed by the previous Presidential Decree on the Public Calamity Situation to prevent the spread of the Covid-19.

This decision aims to enable Angola host the 8th edition of the African Ju-jitsu Tournament in the traditional and Brazilian version scheduled from 26 to 27 March this year.

Initially scheduled from 19 to 20 February in the Kilamba Multiuse pavilion in Luanda, the competition, that will be held in the country for the first time, has the approval of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and was transferred to March in the same stage due to technical matters.

The continental tournament is expected the attendance of 12 nations that expressed the will of participating throughout a group created in WhatsApp of the African Union in Gabon, South Africa, DRC, Tunisia, Nigeria and Congo.
