Africa-Press – Angola. The Consul General of Angola in Cape Town (South Africa), Elsa Caposso Vicente, intends to see the ties of cooperation and friendship between the two countries strengthened, with the creation of partnerships in various areas.
Elsa Caposso was speaking in the city of Cuito, provincial capital of Bié, where she has been, since Saturday, for a three-day visit.
The consul explained that her arrival in Bié aims to reinforce cooperation between Angola and South Africa, in particular with this province in the center/south of the country, in the creation of partnerships in the fields of agriculture, tourism, commerce, industries transformers and others.
Elsa Caposso Vicente, who then held a meeting with the provincial governor, Pereira Alfredo, expressed herself quite satisfied with what she saw and heard about Bié, through an institutional Government video presented during the meeting.
Therefore, he spoke of his interest in promoting the potential of this province.
“We are going to take this video and share it with Angolans and South Africans, to see how developed Bié is and the investment opportunities it offers”, he concluded.
The governor of Bié gave a brief characterization of the province, highlighting the gains made in recent years in the construction of social infrastructures, whic give this region a new image.
