Africa-Press – Angola. Angola recorded, in the last 24 hours, 26 new cases and the recovery of three people, on a day when no death associated with Covid-19 was reported, according to data from the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health, distributed yesterday , the press.
The bulletin mentions that infections were registered in Zaire (16), Luanda (8) and Uíge (2). The infected are aged between 9 months and 57 years, being 21 males and five females.
With regard to recoveries, two were in Huíla and one in Malanje. The recovered are aged between 34 and 57 years.
In Covid-19 treatment centers across the country, nine patients are hospitalized. In institutional quarantine there are 38 people and 129 are in home isolation.
The Molecular Biology Laboratory processed, in the last 24 hours, 2,591 samples, of which 26 were positive. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,453,019 samples have been processed, of which 98,855 have tested positive.
With these data, the country has 98,855 positive cases, of which 1,900 resulted in deaths, 96,817 recovered and 138 were active. Of this number, one is in a serious condition, three are moderate, five have mild symptoms and 129 are asymptomatic.
