Africa-Press – Angola. The Plenary of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSMJ) decided, on Wednesday, in Luanda, the annulment of the public entrance exam for employees of the Courts of Common Jurisdiction, due to irregularities in the respective process.
The decision was taken during an ordinary meeting of this body, in which the plenary assessed the information resulting from the recommendation issued by the 7th Extraordinary Session of the body.
According to a press release from the CSMJ, the annulment is based on the terms of numbers 2 and 5 of article 4 of the Career Regulations of the Special Regime for Officials of Justice, approved by Presidential Decree no.
In the same session, the plenary decided to promote the opening of a new public competition, to be carried out by written test, with a jury made up of magistrates and specialized technicians from the justice sector.
The jury for the new event will be chaired by judge Cláudia Domingos, with judge Maria Castelo Branco as vice-president.
The jury also includes, as members, Pedro António, Nuno Pinheiro, Victor Dias and Domingos Barros Salomão.
The Superior Council of the Judiciary informs that the competition regulations are being prepared, which will be submitted for approval by the Plenary, before being published on the institution’s official page, at www.csmj.ao.
