Africa-Press – Angola. Desportivo da Huíla beat São Salvador do Congo 2-0 in a match part of the 6th round of the Girabola, that was interrupted on Sunday due to rain.
Taking into account the rain, the game is to be concluded on Monday at the Tundavala Stadium in Lubango. This is the first victory for the Huíla team in the current Girabola season.
The match was suspended at 77 minutes due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, by decision of the referee of the match, Alberto Bumbo, after determining that the conditions of the pitch no longer allowed for them to continue playing.
The two goals were scored by Kimuanga (own goal) at 31 minutes and Jeizy at 46 minutes, after a cross from Casimiro.
With one win, four draws, and one loss, Desportivo da Huíla reached the seventh place with seven points, while São Salvador is in tenth place with the same number of points.
The competition is led by Recreativo do Libolo, from Cuanza-Sul, with 13 points.
