Economic Commission approves new remuneration architecture

Africa-Press – Angola. The Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers approved, this Tuesday, the roadmap for implementing the New Remuneration Architecture (RINAR) for Public Administration.

This aims to harmonize and reinforce the standards and practices of public bodies in relation to salaries and other benefits owed to public servants and administrative agents in relation to the work performed.

With this instrument, the Angolan Executive wants to make Public Service remunerations fairer and more transparent, thus guaranteeing greater administrative efficiency and improving the quality of public services provided to citizens and, consequently, the valorization and motivation of human capital in Public administration.

In the document approved in a session guided by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, the Executive intends with the initiative, the definition of clear criteria for salary increases based on the economic context, the attribution to public servants of a competitive remuneration, taking into account their performance, competence and experience.

The initiative provides for the definition of a non-cash benefits plan, attractive with an impact on the disposable income of these employees and the clear communication of remuneration structures, to avoid hidden inequalities and generate a feeling of salary fairness.

National Employment Agenda

On the same occasion, the Economic Commission assessed the National Agenda for Employment, a document that establishes the guidelines for the coordinated action of different actors, both public and private, in the field of promoting employment and aims to reduce the unemployment rate in the economy national.

The agenda envisages bridging the imbalance between labor demand and supply, in addition to promoting improved redistribution of national income and the reduction of regional asymmetries.

In this sense, the Commission recommends consulting provincial governors, in order to obtain more contributions to the aforementioned document.
