Africa-Press – Angola. The general secretaries of the former National Liberation Movements of Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, and São Tomé and Príncipe, are meeting today in Luanda to discuss matters of common interest.
Representatives of the MPLA, PAICV, FRELIMO, PAIGC and MLSTP/PSD parties are gathered at the meeting.
The former secretary of the MPLA, Julião Mateus Paulo “Dino Matrosse” considered the act an important achievement for the parties that had a long distance after the independence of each country.
“The ideals must not die, we need to work for them to remain, despite the changes that the world is undergoing. And the ideas are to work for the well-being of the people”, he stressed.
