Head of State visits Fram Museum in Oslo

Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, started the second and last day of his stay in Oslo, capital of the Kingdom of Norway, with a visit to the Fram Museum.

The main attraction of the site is a polar ship “Fram”, built in 1892. This museum honors Norwegian polar exploration and the three great Norwegian polar explorers, Fridthof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen.

The agenda for this Friday, 18th, of the Angolan Head of State has the highest point of the visit, when President João Lourenço travels to the Royal Palace, where he will be received by King Harald.

At the Royal Palace, João Lourenço signs the honor book and takes the traditional posterity photo in the birds room. Before leaving Oslo, the Angolan Chief Executive will hold a working lunch at the Government Guest House, with the Prime Minister Norwegians, Jonas Gahr Støre.

The President of the Republic is making a two-day official visit to Norway, which began on Thursday, with a presence at the Business Forum organized by the Norwegian Association of Business with Africa (NABA).

The event was attended by more than 30 businessmen, including Norwegians, Angolan residents and others from the cities of Luanda and Benguela, respectively.
