Africa-Press – Angola. The second day of the Technological Innovation Fair of the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (FITITEL/2023), whose closing act will take place this Saturday (9), was marked by the presence of minister Mário Oliveira, who maintained direct contact with more than 40 projects exhibited at this event.

During the visit to the exhibitors’ stands, the head of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication recommended the improvement of the innovative projects on display at the fair, so that they are at the effective service of society.

On the occasion, the government official recognized that the innovations presented have great potential to be feasible and move on to the experimental, production and commercialization phase.

The day was also highlighted with the holding of two round tables on the themes “Challenges and solutions in the safety of taxi users using apps” and “Transforming ideas into business – Challenges of the Angolan market”, respectively, in addition to the act of licensing telecommunication service.

In the first topic, app taxi operators appealed to users of this service to pay more attention to the use of these means of road transport, with a view to avoiding possible kidnappings or anomalous situations.

Therefore, they advised customers to always check the license plate and characteristics of the vehicle that appears in the application before boarding.

The continuity of mini-courses on “Graphic Design – Adobe Photoshop”, “Computer Repair”, among other activities, also dominated the second day of the event.

Started on the 7th of this month, the fair aims to show the skills and abilities that students acquired during the four years of training, presenting solutions that solve business and social problems.

Promoted by the Luanda Telecommunications Institute, with support from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication (MINTTICS), the event ends this Saturday, with the motto “Technological innovation at the service of road safety”.
