Africa-Press – Angola. An Intereclasial Commission made up of three religious institutions holds, from August 31st to September 10th, an evangelical crusade, with the aim of bringing spiritual change to Angolan believers.

The information was provided by the apostle Elias Pedro, adding that the event is organized by the Envagélica Alliance of Angola (AEA), the Christian Church Council in Angola (CICA) and the Angolan Christian Forum (FCA).

During the crusade, to be led by North American evangelist Randy Robert, more than 500,000 faithful will pray in the so-called Campo do Petro, in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi, and from September 7 to 10, in Campo de Viana.

In addition to the Angolans, the crusade will count on the presence of 30 religious from English-speaking African countries, such as Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and even the United States of America.

“The objective is to bring about a spiritual change in the lives of the Angolan people, to transform and soften the minds of young people so they do not lean into criminality and to bless the people of Angola”, said the apostle Elias Pedro, from the Christian Missionary Assembly in Angola.

In the same context, the Interecclesial Commission will hold a service of “thanksgiving” in favor of an Angola that is increasingly developed in all sectors, in order to eliminate disunity, inequality and other evils that affect the country.

By the way, the North American evangelist Randy Robert said that he came to Angola, on Monday, with good expectations and believes that the power of God will transform the country as it has done in other nations.

This inter-ecclesial commission works with different Christian religious denominations, with a view to carrying out public acts of a religious nature, on the most important dates celebrated in national territory.

In the same vein, it mobilizes the population to become aware of the challenges that the new times pose, especially to believers.
