Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of JMPLA in Cunene, Ireno Nambalo, Tuesday, encouraged the youth to rescue patriotic and citizenship values, for the preservation of the country’s image and social stability.
Speaking at the meeting with the young people, Ireno Nambalo asked them to focus on rescuing patriotic, moral and civic values, in order to enhance Angola’s socio-economic and political development.
He stressed the importance of their becoming more involved in the promotion and preservation of peace, as it constitutes an imperative for social stability, towards the creation of conditions for the improvement of the quality of life of citizens.
“We have a youth organization that is increasingly proactive, civic and committed to the principles and values that guided its foundation”, he said.
The youth leader warned young people to avoid negative attitudes, such as vandalizing public goods and others that do not help consolidate the country’s democracy.
Ireno Nambalo also called for a commitment to professional and academic training in order to provide adequate tools for the insertion of young people in the labor market and contribute to the development of the province.
