Africa-Press – Angola. The JMPLA provincial secretariat in Uíge recommended, this Saturday, members and leaders of various party organizations to bet on mobilizing the population to get involved in actions to improve basic sanitation.

The fact appears in the final communiqué of the VII Ordinary Meeting that elected Kiako Fernandes Jorge second provincial secretary of JMPLA in Uíge, replacing Gomes Ndinga Gaspar, currently municipal administrator of Songo.

At the meeting, participants were informed about the current state of basic sanitation and crime in the province and pledged to continue to mobilize society to participate in the social actions of the communities.

It also recommended greater dynamism and rigor in the political and social mobilization of militants, as well as denouncing criminals in communities.

The meeting allowed the election of Dinis Alberto Amândio to exercise the position of secretary of the Department of Multidisciplinary Activities, and Guilhermina Raul da Silva for the position of coordinator of the Audit and Discipline Commission of the Provincial Committee of JMPLA.

Held at the new Provincial Committee of the MPLA in Uíge, the act was guided by the first provincial secretary of the JMPLA in Uíge, Faustino Nguange Simão, who praised the commitment and dedication of the members and militants in the actions carried out by the party.

The new MPLA municipal secretary in Uíge, Maria Cavungo, presented this Saturday, asked MPLA militants, cadres, sympathizers and friends for full support, aiming at achieving the party’s objectives.

Maria Cavungo, who replaced Sónia Fernando from the post, will work with 17 members of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Committee of the party, as well as other militants from OMA and JMPLA.

Following the speech, the official also asked for a spirit of unity and cohesion within the party, for the success of the actions planned in this mandate.

He highlighted boosting political work at the grassroots so that the political organization continues to add victories in the next elections, as happened in the elections of August 24, 2022.
