Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the MPLA, João Lourenço, announced, this Monday, in Luanda, more investments in infrastructures equipped for higher education and training of the teaching staff.
The leader of the “comrades” party was speaking at the opening of the 18th Edition of the National Camp for University Students Vacation (CANFEU), which takes place at the Multipurpose Pavilion in Kilamba.
“We are increasingly firm and ready to serve you. (…) To continue creating the necessary conditions for your formation and for the future of your families”, said João Lourenço.
The MPLA candidate for President of the Republic for the General Elections on 24 August also underlined that “who will determine the course of the electoral dispute is our youth, who constitute the vast majority of the population”.
Debates
During four days, young people will appreciate matters related to the reduction of the unemployment rate, within the scope of PAPE, promote sports activities and cultural presentations, as well as make contact with the main lines of the MPLA Government Program for 2022- 2027 and with the electoral manifesto.
CANFEU takes place in the context of elections and presents itself as a space for unity, reflection, citizenship and youth dialogue, work, recreation, sport and culture and, therefore, for the exchange and sharing of experiences, which brings together university youth from all over the country and students from abroad.
