The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, considered, this Monday, the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) and the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) as “very sensitive areas of the defense and security system”.The Head of State, João Lourenço, made these statements at the inauguration ceremony of the new directors-general of the SIC, Luciano da Silva, and of the SME, José Júnior. “And, for this reason, the responsibility that falls on your shoulders is great, due to the sensitivity of the work that you will carry out from today and which has a huge impact on the security of our country”, stressed the President of the Republic.
