Africa-Press – Angola. The headquarters building of the Ministry of Finance in Luanda was closed on Tuesday (1) morning for “preventive reasons”, aiming at the safety of all employees and visitors.
According to a press release, the building will remain closed to allow the completion of ongoing technical procedures, a measure adopted by the competent authorities, obliging the safe evacuation of employees.
According to the document, the employees’ evacuation took place calmly and in an organized manner, in accordance with internal security protocols.
Despite the aforementioned closure of the facilities, the Ministry of Finance reaffirms its commitment to institutional security, transparency of information and essential services’ continuity, ensured remotely by the respective work teams.
