Africa-Press – Angola. The 12th annual Superbrands/2025 awards gala was held Tuesday in Luanda. The event honored 47 brands operating in the national market, four of which are Angolan. These brands received the “Brand of Excellence” award in recognition of their quality, innovation, consistency, creativity, and impact on the country.
Among those honored are 36 brands in the general Superbrands class, including the Carrinho group, Fresmart, Germol, Aliança Seguros, Alimo, Angomart, Beko, Best, Bom Dia, Tio Lucas, Bonita, Casa dos Frescos, Casanova, Dukan, Elephant Bet and Ensa Seguros de Angola.
Also taking part in the awards are Unitel, Jornal Expansão, TPA, ZAP, Orion, Rádio Mais, Momo, Patriot, Petro de Luanda, Premier Bet, Primavera, Puma, Centro Óptico, Spar, Special, Ultra, Valinho, Yala, Yolo and Zipp.
In the National Superbrands class, four brands were honoured, namely BB Eskebra, Decor, Limor and Rose Palhares.
The Corporate Superbrands honoured seven brands, namely Authentic, Daimic, Epic Sana Luanda, Espaços, Grupo Cosal, Novo Jornal and Sistec.
The president of Superbrands Angola, Pedro Vaz, said the prizes awarded in the general and national classes are the result of direct choice by the public, while the corporate dimension is awarded by a panel of judges who, over the last few months, have processed the data collected in the national market.
Pedro Vaz highlighted the diversity of the brands of excellence as a synonym for recognizing quality, innovation and creativity, as well as their presence on the international market.
The Superbrands awards have existed in Angola since 2010 and are given out in 85 countries.
In the previous edition, 2024, the Superbrands gala honored 43 Brands of Excellence.
