Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, left Luanda this Monday, bound for Soyo, province of Zaire, for the celebration of the 47th anniversary of the Angolan Navy, one of the three branches that make up the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA ).
At the Luanda Military Air Base, João Lourenço received farewell greetings from the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, and members of the Executive.
President João Lourenço will reinstate the Soyo Naval base, which has been modernized.
The program also includes the official entry into operation of the Regional Maritime Coordination Centre.
The Head of State returns to the country’s capital later today (Monday), according to the Press Secretary of the Presidential Palace.
