Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial delegate for Justice and Human Rights, in Benguela, Celdo Donvala, assured that the Executive remains committed to continuous speed and approximation of the process of issuing the Identity Card with the communities.

Celdo Donvala, who was speaking at the opening of the assembly of workers assigned to the sector, held on Friday, in the meeting room of the Municipal Administration of Benguela, acknowledged that despite being a process, the speed in issuing documents is already a fact in the province .

“The sector has been providing a set of quality and speedy services, in order to satisfy the expectations of the population at provincial level”, he assured.

He informed that the services of the Justice and Human Rights sector cover the ten municipalities of the province. “There is commitment so that the services are provided with speed and quality, for the good of the populations”, he said, stating that there is acceptable efficiency in the services that are provided to the population.

He referred that the quality of services is also remarkable in the courts, civil registry offices, notary services, civil and criminal identification, “although there is a need for more staff to deal with the various concerns that come to these institutions every day” , acknowledged.

According to the official, the lack of working resources, added to the failure of the computer system, are identified issues, which have sometimes created a certain delay in the dynamics of the work carried out in the various institutions related to the sector, but in due time, the competent authorities continue attentive.

He also clarified that in view of this situation, the Government of the province has made every effort to make it possible to provide justice services with the quality most desired by the population, while, gradually, the necessary conditions are being reinforced with them. institutions.

He made it known that some electricity failures were frequent and currently this reality no longer exists and no longer constitutes a problem in any of the areas allocated to the Justice sector, in Benguela province.

He added that, at the moment, an assessment is underway to reinforce the improvement of the conditions of professionals in the sector, so that they continue to respond to the great challenge, committed and dedicated to work, as well as the intensification of the massification of the process birth registration, assignment of identity cards at community level, for minors and adults.

According to Celso Donvala, at community level, the legal culture, within the framework of defending the fundamental freedoms of citizens, already shows positive indicators, taking into account the work that the Human Rights Committee, recently constituted, has developed at the level of all province locations.

The meeting analyzed questions about workers’ salary situation, disability retirement pension, subsidies for children of a deceased professional, isolation subsidy, change of category, among others.
