Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial delegate of Justice and Human Rights of Huambo, Alfredo Felo Sachiliva, on Monday disclosed that the opening of integrated notary and civil registration offices is one of the main priorities of the sector for this year.
He also pointed out the implementation of 13 integrated civil and criminal registration and identification posts in the municipalities of Bailundo, Caála, Cachiungo, Chicala-Cholohanga, Huambo, Londuimbali and Mungo.
Similarly, he announced the opening of the first civil registration and notary service office in the satellite city of Halavala located in the municipality of Bailundo.
He stated that, within the scope of the “Diversifica Mais” project, the sector will monitor the implementation of the One-Stop Business Center, property registration office at the facilities of the Local Justice and Human Rights Department, as well as the transformation of civil and criminal identification and notary services in the municipality of Caála into registry offices.
The official explained that these initiatives aim to bring justice services closer to the citizens.
Regarding 2025, the official stated that the institution carried out 175,411 various acts, compared to 341,411 actions in 2024.
He said that these activities resulted in the collection of about 330,575 million kwanzas, which is approximately 16,364 million kwanzas less than in the 2024 fiscal year.
The official indicated that campaigns for the free issuance of birth certificates, which covered 1,816 citizens, and identity cards, covering 3,623 citizens, were among the main actions carried out in the last year, along with the installation and expansion of the second civil registry office and civil registry posts in the central area of Fernando Faustino Muteka (Caála) and in the Chipipa sector (Huambo).
Alfredo Felo Sachiliva revealed that the institution has 353 justice employees, distributed across the provinces 17 municipalities.
