Africa-Press – Angola. The commander of the Central Military Region, Lieutenant General Simão Carlitos Wala, stated this Tuesday in Huambo that ongoing training is a decisive factor in meeting the demands of science, technology, and military art.
The military official was speaking at the opening of the Army’s computer repair and maintenance course, representing the branch commander, General João Serafim Kiteculo.
He noted that the 60 trainees from all military regions have the privilege of acquiring valuable knowledge and developing fundamental habits for successful military performance and a successful career.
He added that discipline, obedience to rules, and respect for military values and duties are pillars of the service, which must be reflected in the character of each member, as proclaimed in the oath of allegiance to the flag.He said the course, scheduled to conclude on October 15th, is part of the Army’s training program, aiming to equip specialists with technical skills for computer maintenance and repair, with a view to enhancing capabilities within military units.
During the training, participants will receive instruction in topics such as computer introduction, hardware repair, operating system installation, partial computer maintenance, encryption, and data recovery.
