From 2012 to May 2023, the mine invested more than US$555.4 million in studies, infrastructure construction and other important areas and is expected to reach around 628 million carats by 2032.
The Luaxe mine, also called Luele, from January to March of the current year, employed 897 people, of which 327 were locals and 100 expatriates.
