Africa-Press – Angola. The headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, located on Rua Major Kanhangulo, in Luanda, was closed on Tuesday morning, for preventive reasons, aiming at the safety of all employees of this ministerial department and visitors.
According to a press release, the building will remain closed to allow the completion of ongoing technical procedures, with reopening scheduled for Thursday, July 3, a measure adopted by the competent authorities, requiring the safe evacuation of employees.
According to the document, the evacuation of employees took place “completely calmly and in an organized manner”, in accordance with internal security protocols.
Despite the aforementioned closure of the facilities, the Ministry of Finance reaffirms its commitment to institutional security, transparency of information and continuity of essential services, ensured remotely by the respective work teams.
