Africa-Press – Angola. The National Social Security Institute (INSS) in Moxico registers a low adherence of domestic workers to social protection services, said this Tuesday, in Luena, the local representative of this institution, Jacob Capaia.
The official who was speaking during a lecture aimed at the military of the Eastern Region (RML), as part of the awareness campaign on the registration of domestic workers to the INSS, stating that currently only four have registered in the province.
“We are concerned, because the number of workers who develop these services does not justify the number, hence the need to develop activities that can help to clarify the advantages of enrollment”, he said.
He reiterated that only workers who have at least 180 months of contributions benefit from the retirement pension, highlighting the right to breastfeeding, vacation, maternity, Christmas, retirement, old-age or death allowances.
