Africa-Press – Angola. The vice-president of the MPLA, Luísa Damião, held, this Friday, a meeting with a delegation from the Communist Party of China (PCC), to reinforce friendly and cooperative relations between the two political forces.

The Chinese Communist Party delegation, led by Yin Li, also met with members of the MPLA leadership and, at the end of the two meetings, no statements were made to the press.

Yin Li, who is a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, is also responsible for the city of Beijing.

The delegation from the Communist Party of China, which arrived in the country this Friday, has scheduled visits to the Geological Institute of Angola (IGEO) and Kilamba Shopping (photographic exhibition, gastronomy and Chinese culture fair) for Saturday.

The Chinese delegation will also visit the Military History Museum and the Dr António Agostinho Neto Memorial.

Founded in July 1921, in Shanghai, the Communist Party of China (CCP) has governed the Asian giant since 1949. It has more than 87 million members.

China has one of the largest economies in the world and is also the third largest nation in terms of land mass. Currently, the Asian giant is one of the most industrialized countries in the world, exerting a strong influence on the world economy.
