Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the MPLA, Marcos Nhunga, yesterday appealed to the party’s militants to focus on the study of everyday phenomena, in order to improve and adjust the organization’s performance to the current context, marked by constant changes.

Speaking at the opening of the Second Methodological Meeting of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA, the politician stressed that the high population growth, the flow of information and the transformation of the world into a global village are dynamics that affect the political reality and demand greater intervention capacity from the militants.

He recalled that the MPLA defined in its Political Agenda 2023 the main guidelines of its action, so that every practice of the party must ensure the materialization of the constant commitments in the 10 axes that make up the referred agenda.

He also guided the militants to continue to develop skills that reinforce the sense of empathy and interaction with the people, as the foundation of the organization’s existence.

Marcos Nhunga said that, since its founding, the MPLA has always been on the side of the people and, at this moment, it must be closer to the bases to convey hope and a feeling of confidence in the ongoing policies, which aim to improve the lives of Angolans.

The II Methodological Meeting of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA lasts for two days and matters related to the Communication Strategy of the MPLA 2023/2026, Marketing Plan for 2023, Policies on Information and Communication Technologies and Party Budget Management are being discussed.

The works are being witnessed by the deputy coordinator of the monitoring group of the Secretariat of the Political Bureau for the province of Malanje, Manuel Figueiredo.
