Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, defended, in the municipality of Dembos, the union of all militants in favor of the party and the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
The politician, who made this statement during a march in support and solidarity with the President of the Republic, called for calm and said that the party is making efforts to overcome the current situation as quickly as possible.
“The most important thing is to be united and work so that the reforms that are being implemented are successful in due time”, he said.
The first secretary requested the engagement of OMA, JMPLA and militants, friends and sympathizers in order to work harder and provide better information.
OMA’s provincial secretary, Mafalda Antônio, exhorted the militants to recognize the effort implemented by the party leader in resolving people’s problems, defending women’s fundamental rights and in materializing political, social, economic and cultural ideas.
The provincial secretary of JMPLA, Daniel Júnior, asked young people to close ranks around the party and the President of the Republic so that economic reforms, quality of health, education and employability become a reality in the country.
In the municipality of Dembos, the caravan led by the first secretary of the MPLA in Bengo visited the commune of Coxi, where it delivered agricultural and basic sanitation kits. F
