Africa-Press – Angola. The second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Zaire, Garcia Vieira, this Thursday, in Mbanza Kongo, urged youth to correctly use the content that is displayed on social networks.
According to the leader, who spoke at the provincial act of opening of the Balance and Renewal of Mandates Assemblies at the level of JMPLA’s communal structures, currently, many citizens spread messages on social media that incite violence, tribalism and regionalism, putting social harmony and national unity are at stake.
Therefore, he asked for discernment in analyzing the speeches that are often given by some leaders of opposition parties with a tendency to disunite Angolans.
For the MPLA’s second provincial secretary of Zaire, these leaders create groups on social media with the mission of promoting disinformation campaigns about everything the Angolan Executive does for the population.
Garcia Vieira repudiated the acts of vandalism of public assets that the Government makes available to citizens, having asked the JMPLA youth to redouble their vigilance, denouncing the perpetrators.
The opening act of the Balance and Renewal of Mandates Assemblies at the commune level, which will culminate in the holding of the IX ordinary JMPLA congress next November, took place in the commune of Kalambata, which is 30 km from the city of Mbanza Kongo.
