MPLA: Peace and development in priorities

Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Malanje, Manuel Carvalho da Costa, assured this Tuesday, at the municipal seat of Cacuso, that the choice of the motto “MPLA – Peace and Development”, represents the concern of the ruling party to see the developed country in its most varied aspects.

The politician, who was speaking at a mass act within the framework of the electoral campaign, stressed that the seven axes contained in the MPLA’s governance program reflect the action to be carried out over the next five years, if he wins the general elections on 24 August.

Manuel Carvalho da Costa refuted the accusations made in the same locality by the UNITA representative, who allegedly said that the jobs are totally directed to MPLA militants.

“The person who said that is a professor and not an MPLA activist. The person who came here to say that a professor, doctor or nurse in Angola can only be from the MPLA, he is not our activist, and he is a professor. started with the lies,” he declared.

He asked the militants, sympathizers and friends of the MPLA party to face the campaign moment with great responsibility and to continue the mobilization program for the adhesion of the voting population in the act of 24 August.

After Quirima, Lu-quembo, Cambundi Catem-bo, Quela, Mucari, Cangandala and Cacuso, the MPLA will make the government program known to the populations of the municipalities of Calandula, Massango, Ca-ombo and Marimba.
