The first secretary of the MPLA in Lunda Norte, Deolinda Satula Vilarinho, stated this Friday that the elevation of some communes into municipalities, within the scope of the new political-administrative division, will boost socioeconomic development and combat regional asymmetries.
The person in charge made this statement when responding to the concerns of the population of the commune of Cachimo, municipality of Cambulo, highlighting that the materialization of the project will be an important step in the fight against rural exodus, because the districts will have financial autonomy and will be able to carry out various impactful actions Social.
Regarding the telecommunications network, the party leader said that it is a problem that will be solved with ANGOSAT 2, but while waiting for the project to be implemented in the province, the local government will work with the companies UNITEL and Movicel for a possible installation of an antenna.
Regarding the expansion of Justice services, Deolinda Satula promised that she will guide, as governor, the local delegation to find solutions to, at the very least, create conditions for the issuance of Identity Cards.
He reiterated that the expansion of the school and health network and the improvement of access roads, concerns raised by the population of Cachimo, are at the top of the local government’s priorities in this five-year period.
The first secretary of the MPLA started friday, a field trip in the municipality of Cambulo, where for two days, she will listen to the local populations, with a view to finding solutions to the socioeconomic problems that afflict them.
The municipality of Cambulo is more than 90 kilometers from the city of Dundo and has more than 150 inhabitants in five municipalities (Cachimo, Canzar, Luia and Cambulo).
