Africa-Press – Angola. The second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cunene, Gonçalves Namueia, praised, this Friday, the reinforcement of the skills of leaders and militants, aiming to meet the challenges of the party.

Speaking at the closing act of the methodological seminar on the organization of the party’s work in Cuanhama, he said that the meeting aimed to permanently improve the work methods of its members.

The party leader underlined that the seminar constitutes a moment of refreshment and updating, which demands permanent adaptation of the leaders, phase to the current context of political transformations.

He underlined that the political challenges demand greater speed, responsibility, availability, commitment and discipline from the militant mass in the fulfillment of the outlined programs.

To this end, he said that the MPLA continues to preserve its character as a progressive party, providing its staff and leaders with an enormous capacity for renewal for changes in internal and external life.

“At this meeting, tools were produced which, added to the political agenda for the period 2023, constitute the basis for greater speed in carrying out the party’s tasks with militants, friends and supporters”, he emphasized.

For this reason, he called for a commitment to boost the basic structures and increase the ideological education of militants to overcome the challenges of the present and the future.

For two days, the seminar that brought together party leaders from the communities of Ondjiva, Evale, Mongua, Nehone and Oshimolo, having addressed the situation of internal organization, the reinforcement of the MPLA’s insertion in society, as well as issues related to economic and social life and culture of the municipality.
