Africa-Press – Angola. The Cazenga Community Children’s Center benefited, this Thursday, from various products, a gift from the Brazilian musician Netinho de Paula.
Foodstuffs include rice, yellow corn meal, sugar, tomato paste, boxes of frozen fish, chicken legs, vinegar and biscuits.
Some cradles, spiders and toys were also delivered to close to 250 children who attend the aforementioned place.
The offer of products is part of your visit to the country, at the invitation of the Piedoso Foundation.
On the occasion, the musician said he was satisfied with having delivered food and other goods to the said center and with the commitment to once again support initiatives in Cazenga.
On the other hand, he was surprised by the construction of centralities in the country, despite still having much to do, but this “demonstrates development”.
He claimed to be in Angola, for a while, at the invitation of Fundação Piedoso, his partner, and the intention is to visit all the provinces, to develop different projects.
He recognized that there is a lot of similarity between the peoples of the two countries (Angola and Brazil) and now with the new Brazilian Government he believes that cooperation will be strengthened.
The President of the Board of Directors of the Piedoso Foundation, Margarida Ulisavo, considered that the objective is to build and strengthen a partnership between the institution and Casa da Gente, which the musician leads.
For his part, the municipal administrator of Cazenga, Tomás Bica, considered the Brazilian musician a “great social and cultural activist”.
He explained that Cazenga has an association linked to the theater and that annually holds festivals, hoping with this visit to establish partnerships for youth integration.
On the other hand, the Centre’s director, Paula Mabuzo, thanked the musician’s gesture for the memory and support he provided with goods that will help improve the diet of minors.
The person in charge made it known that the center has some cracks and in this rainy season the walls of the facilities are all wet, a situation already under the control of the Municipal Administration.
During his visit to the municipality of Cazenga, Netinho de Paula held a meeting with the local culture makers and also found out about the functioning of the school of the first Cycle 3124, called Ambrósio Lukoki.
Netinho de Pauta is a Brazilian presenter, singer, songwriter and politician.
He began his artistic career with the romantic pagode group Negritude Júnior, in the 1980s, emerging with hits like Cohab City and Tanajura.
In 2001, he left the musical group to dedicate himself to a solo career, including projects on one of the television channels in his country.
