Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan writer Nituecheni Africano, literary pseudonym of Eugénio Afonso Gaspar, launches, next Sunday (30th), in Portugal, his crime novel book entitled “The prisoner – the beginning and the end of an injustice”.
The book, under the seal of Satchi editora, with 150 pages, subdivided into 12 chapters, was written in 2015 and with a print run of two thousand copies.
Nituecheni Africano said that the work brings themes about influence peddling, abuse of power, secrets of a defendant and the judge, as well as the wisdom and cunning of a lawyer.
He clarified that the official presentation of the work in Portugal results from an invitation from the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) and the Casa de Cultura de Angola in Lisbon, where the sales and autograph session will take place.
After Portugal, the author informed that the abra will be officially presented in Angola, on the 10th of August, at the headquarters of the União dos Escritores, in Luanda.
Nituecheni Africano was designated, in February 2023, ambassador of literature in five African countries, by the Brazilian magazine Word-Book Review, he won, in 2022, the IV edition of the Great Literary Contest of Latin America, held in São Paulo (Brazil), in the category of Best Romance, with the work “The immigrant from the Web and its nonsense”, published in the same year.
In 2020 he published the literary works “The seller of bread in the hands” and the “Prisoner of love”.
Born in the province of Huambo, on September 12, 1990, writer Eugénio Afonso Gaspar has a degree in IT and Business Administration from the Technical University of Angola (UTANGA).
