Oil production rises and reaches 35.631 million barrels

Africa-Press – Angola. Oil production in Angola reached 35.631 million barrels in July this year, recording an increase of 2.023 million barrels compared to the previous month.

In July, the expected production of 1,132,364 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) exceeded expectations, reaching 1,149,393 BOPD, according to the monthly summary published by the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels ( ANPG ).

Oil production in Angola has not reached 35 million barrels for four months.

In June of this year, production was 33.607 million barrels, while in May there was a slight increase of 34.438 million.

In the months of March and April, production was even lower in the order of 39.059 million and 31.665 million barrels, respectively.

With the results achieved in July, 35,631,172 barrels, corresponding to an average of 1,149,393 barrels of oil per day (BOPD), there is a gradual increase in crude oil production in the country. Associated

gas also rises

The production of associated gas, in the same period, July, was 84.702 million cubic feet, corresponding to an average of 2.732 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).

Compared to the previous period, associated gas production increased by 5.544 million cubic feet.

Of the total volume of associated gas produced in July, 1 422 MMSCFD were injected, 636 MMSCFD were made available to the ALNG plant, 334 MMSCFD were used to generate energy at oil installations and the remainder was used in operations and oil disposal.
