Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary general of the Organization of Angolan Women (OMA), Joana Tomás, defended this Saturday, in the municipality of Nambuangongo, northern Bengo province, the need to reinforce and value patriotism in Angola.
The leader of the MPLA women’s organization who made this appeal at the national opening act of the balance assemblies and renewal of mandates of the sections and base committees of the OMA, said that the holding of these meetings will make it possible to assess the functioning of the structures as well as the number existing.
“In addition to looking inside the organization, there is an urgent need to look closely at society where each militant is called not only to talk about politics, but also about patriotism”, he said.
The policy advocated strengthening moral and civic education and dialogue with children.
He reiterated on behalf of all militants, sympathizers and the population of Nambuangongo, the support to the President of the Republic and the MPLA in the socioeconomic development of the country.
