Africa-Press – Angola. Ticketing services at the Passenger Terminal (TP) at the Port of Luanda, suspended four months ago, have been reopened to the public since Friday (August 4th), after the facilities were rehabilitated as a result of a road accident.

The Passenger Terminal of the Port of Luanda was consumed by a fire following a road accident, caused by the skidding of a light vehicle on Avenida 4 de Fevereiro, on the 8th of April of this year.

The loss of the vehicle did not affect passenger embarkation and disembarkation operations, nor catamaran arrivals and departures to Cabinda-Soyo-Luanda and vice versa, which continue to operate, but ticketing services were reduced to virtual sales.

The reopened space has a bar/cafe service and sanitary facilities.

The Maritime Passenger Terminal of the Port of Luanda occupies a total area of ​​4,158.76 square meters, where commercial services, shops, restaurants are provided, in addition to the entire process related to the boarding and disembarking of passengers on the Luanda, Soyo connection , Cabinda and vice versa.
