Africa-Press – Angola. The Porto do Lobito House of Staff lost today (Friday), in Benguela, to 1.o de Agosto, by 69-90, in a game of the 21st round of the National Senior Men’s Basketball Championship.
Even acting in their stronghold, the hosts were already losing at halftime by 23-48.
With this victory, the “military” team has 33 points, and returns to the leadership of the competition, while the CPPL remains in third place, with 28.
In the match, Edson Hilukiluwa, from CPPL, was the top scorer, with 16 points, followed by Edson Ndoniema, from 1.o de Agosto, with 13.
In the same round, the Clube dos Amigos do Basquetebol de Benguela lost to Petro B, at the Acácias Rubras pavilion, by 82-92, Inter B defeated the Kwanza Sports Training Club, at the 28 de Fevereiro pavilion, by 75 -70.
AKira Academy was beaten by Interclube, at the 28 de Fevereiro pavilion, by 60-86, while Petro de Luanda beat ASA, by 95-73, on Thursday (4th).
