Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, arrived, at the beginning of this Wednesday night, in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, to reinforce economic relations with the European country.
The Head of State welcomed the Angolan Ambassador to Norway, Apolinário Jorge Correia, the Norwegian Ambassador to Angola, Bjornar Dahl Hotvedt and the Head of Protocol MIREX Norway, Tone Allers.
The agenda of President João Lourenço, who is accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, foresees a dinner in Her Honour, hosted by the Angolan ambassador to that country.
This is the first official visit by an Angolan Head of State to Norway.
With a strong economic bent, the three-day visit of the Angolan President includes meetings, for Friday, with King Harald V and with the Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre. Earlier, tomorrow, Thursday, the Angolan Head of State is received in a formal meeting by the President of the Norwegian Parliament, Masud Gharhakhani.
