Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, will be working from this Wednesday (August 9) in the provinces of Huíla and Cunene, where he will find out about the development and progress of projects.
According to the secretary for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic, Luís Fernando, the statesman’s trip to the south of the country will have the province of Huíla as the first stage, where he will carry out his journey between Wednesday (9) and Thursday (10).
On the first day of work in the city of Lubango, the highlight is the meeting, in the afternoon, with the Government of the province of Huíla and, on the following day, he will participate in the Forum of Municipalities and in the opening of the Fair that will show the potential of each of the country’s 164 municipalities.
On Thursday, the Statesman leaves for Cunene province where he will have contact, fundamentally, with projects of the Ministry of Energy and Water linked to dealing with issues related to the drought and its harmful effects on the economy and the daily lives of the populations.
