Africa-Press – Angola. With the goal scored in the 59th minute, Renascimento do Uíge beat Cuando Cubango Dragons yesterday, by 28-27, in a game counting for the 6th round of the National Handball Championship in male youth.
At half-time, the formation of the Dragons was winning by 14-12, in a match played at the pavilion of Futebol Clube do Uíge.
The Cuando Cubango Dragons tried to resist the pressure from the local team, but ended up breaking in the 59th minute (29th of the second half), when, after a good move, the Uigens team, with no chance for the outside goalkeeper, scored the winning goal.
With this result, Renascimento do Uíge, with eight points, remains in second place in the league table, while the Dragons of Cuando Cubango are in fourth place with 4 points.

Speaking to the press, the assistant coach of Renascimento do Uíge, Sérgio Caxala, spoke of the difficulties that the association he directs faces, especially the lack of accommodation for the athletes, lack of support, among other difficulties that the group faces.
As a result, the person in charge recognized that there are no conditions to develop a good job and, therefore, “it is difficult for us to reach high levels”, he lamented.
In turn, the head coach of the Dragons of Cuando Cubango, Martinho Américo, did not spare criticisms of the refereeing of the match, assuring that the referee offered victory to the Renaissance of Uíge.
“We played a very good game, but we had to play against bad decisions by the referees”, he lamented.
