Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, held Wednesday, in this city, the reopening of the building of the Provincial Parliamentary Support Office for the Cabinda Circle.

The building, which underwent restoration work for six months, will from now on provide better working conditions for the five (5) deputies from the provincial circle and beyond.

During the restoration work, the seven offices for deputies, two meeting rooms, the installation of a new computer system for video conferences, as well as the administrative services support office, were improved.

Carolina Cerqueira, who arrived in the city of Cabinda, where she will carry out a two-day working visit, will travel, later this Wednesday, to the municipality of Cacongo, around 46 km north of this province, and next to mouth of the Chiloango River will participate in the mangrove planting campaign.

On Thursday, you will find out about the progress of the ongoing works on the largest economic project in the province, the Águas Profundas do Caio Port Maritime Terminal, as well as pay a visit to the local Maternity Hospital, which underwent rehabilitation and expansion works to better provision of health services.

On this trip to the northernmost province of the country, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Carolina Cerqueira, is accompanied by representatives from all parties with seats in Parliament, which are MPLA, UNITA, PRS/FNLA and the Party Humanist from Angola.

The Cabinda Circle has four (4) deputies from the UNITA party and one (1) from the MPLA.
