Africa-Press – Angola. Three thousand Angolan technicians will be trained in various telecommunications and information technology specialties, in a process that will take place from March to July this year.

The formation results from a memorandum signed between the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS) and the Chinese company Huawei.

According to a press release, received, the initiative will have 18 classes, divided according to the training plan, with a maximum number of 188 students, in a face-to-face format.

Trainees will have access to 13 intensive courses related to Access, Transmission and Telecommunications Networks, Cloud Computing and 5G.

The classes will be taught at the Huawei Technology Park in Angola, which had an investment of 80 million dollars, in a mix of theoretical and practical classes.

Registration for this training, which is free, closes on Friday (23 February). Interested parties can register via the link https://itel.gov.ao/lead23, and it is mandatory to fill out all fields on the form.

Candidates must have Angolan nationality, be no older than forty-five (45) years old, have completed high school or have attended university in the areas of Telecommunications, IT, Information and Communication Technologies and be fluent in the English language.

MINTTICS and the Chinese company Huawei intend to train, by 2027, 10 thousand technicians in the most varied specialties of telecommunications and information technologies.
