Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of UNITA in Lunda Sul, Alone Zola, Saturday, appealed for the cohesion and firmness of militants and party members, for the implementation of the program and objectives of this political formation.
According to the politician, who was speaking at the opening of UNITA’s political year in Saurimo, the party intends to actively participate in the local elections and is currently preparing the conditions in terms of human, technical and administrative resources.
On the other hand, as UNITA’s new provincial secretary in Lunda Sul, he said that he will favor permanent dialogue with the Provincial Government, contributing with constructive ideas and identifying problems that affect the populations.
Alone Zola replaced Saúde Vitorino, who led the party in Lunda Sul until 2022.
In the August 2022 elections, UNITA elected two deputies in the province of Lunda Sul.
