Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary general of UNITA for the local authorities, Lazaro Kacunha, requested in the city of Cuito, Bié province, the strengthening of unity, cohesion and, above all, determination of its militants, aiming at the conquest of power in the future.
The politician was speaking at the presentation ceremony of the new provincial secretary of UNITA in this part of the country, Celso Torres Kapiñala, to its members, militants and supporters.
“The party will continue to fight to conquer power, therefore, we must avoid disagreements between members and militants within the party, so that it is strengthened”, he stressed.
Celso Torres Kapiñala, who replaces Jeremias Kaunda Abílio, assured that he knew the Bieno territory, having wanted to work together with the militant mass to reach the objectives set.
Jeremias Kaunda Abílio, invited to intervene, recalled that UNITA militants will only be happy when the party forms the Government, which is why he promised to work to leverage the party across the country, particularly in Bié.
