Africa-Press – Angola. The US-Africa Summit, taking place from 22 to 25 June in Luanda, is an opportunity for Angola to boost its cooperation with the American country and strengthen economic diplomacy, Professor Fortunato Paulino said on Saturday in Luena, Moxico province.
The university lecturer said that the event could be a ‘door of opportunity’, as there will be open discussion about the policies and vision of the new US Administration, predicting the attraction of more investors.
‘This is a window for the expansion of economic diplomacy promoted by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço’, acknowledged the professor at the Walinga do Moxico Higher Polytechnic Institute.
In his opinion, attracting investors to the Lobito Corridor will be one of the highlights of the summit, as the project will connect several African countries and promote the continent’s socio-economic growth.
The 17th U.S.-Africa Business Summit 2025 is expected to bring together several African Heads of State, senior U.S. officials, and more than 2,500 domestic and foreign companies.
It will focus on promoting opportunities for investment, innovation and investment in infrastructure, energy, technology, agriculture and industry.
