Africa-Press – Angola. At least 60 young people from 15 countries are competing in the 2022 international business management simulation competition, called Global Management Challenge, which kicked off moday in Luanda.

Eight countries participate in the event in person and seven online, namely Portugal, Angola, India, Russia, Spain, Cameroon, China, Brazil, Estonia, Macau, Ecuador, Togo, Benin, Georgia and Uzbekistan.

There are three groups, the Blue Group (Cameroon, India, Spain and Angola), the Green Group (China, Russia, Brazil and Portugal) and the third group (Benin, Ecuador, Estonia, Georgia, Macau, Togo and Uzbekistan).

The 40th edition of the Global Management Challenge takes place from the 25th to the 27th of this month (the first time in Africa).

At the launch ceremony, the operational director of Soik Investments, João Pereira, said that the event aims to bring the academic world closer to the business world.

He considered it an opportunity for participants from other countries to learn about the country’s tourism potential.

The GMC – Global Management Challenge was founded in Portugal by SDG – Simuladores e Modelos de Gestão and the Jornal EXPRESSO, having achieved, over the years, enormous success, becoming an event of high notoriety and visibility, honoring the organizations that participate in it. participate.

GMC is a Management Simulator considered the most advanced in the world, as every year a national competition is organized by a local company in the countries where GMC is represented.

The winning Team of the National Competition, in the respective country, participates in the International Competition in a country indicated by the Global Management Challenge organization.

Participations are reserved for teams of 5 members to compete in groups with a maximum of 8 teams. Each group constitutes a market, in which teams compete against each other, with the team that presents the best results in terms of performance/price of their company’s shares on the stock exchange winning.
