Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Regional Command of the National Police (PN), in São Vicente, reported that it detained 11 individuals for possession of narcotics, weapons, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a legal license.
According to the statement issued on Tuesday night, the 6th, the arrests took place during a “large-scale police operation”, carried out from Saturday night to last Sunday, involving “a large police contingent” and covering all city’s neighbourhoods.
In addition to the arrest of the 11 individuals, several vehicles in an irregular situation were seized and, according to the PN, the detainees will be presented to the judiciary within the legal period.
