Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verdean Paralympic athlete Jailson Correia won the silver medal this Thursday, 9, while Heidilene Oliveira reached bronze in the 100 meters, at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix Series of Marrakech 2023, which takes place in Morocco.
The information was advanced to Inforpress by the athlete Marilson Oliveira, directly from Morocco, where another Cape Verdean international, Carlos Araújo, class T-47, finished the 100 meters race in fifth place.
Marilson Semedo, category F-57, returns to competition today, the 10th, in the javelin throwing competition, a discipline in which he holds number four in the African ranking, while Heidilene Oliveira returns to the track for the 200 meters sprint competition.
Jailson Correia (T-11), Carlos Araújo (F-47) and Heidilene Oliveira (T-12) still have competition reserved for Saturday, 11th, in the 400 meters disciplines.
