The Sea Captain Armindo Graça was speaking at the signing of a protocol between the Armed Forces (FA) and IPIAAM, which aims to increase operational safety in the waters and sea under national jurisdiction, based on information sharing and inter-institutional support in matters of prevention and investigation of aviation and maritime accidents.
Armindo Graça considered, by the way, that with the protocol the “adequate conditions” are created so that the two institutions have tools that serve “above all” the interests of Cabo Verde.
The same source announced that the FA and IPIAAM will, from now on, within the scope of the protocol, develop cooperation that will cover the areas of training and qualification of staff, aiming at the creation of mixed research teams, joint awareness campaigns, provision of unclassified information, tables and means for transporting means to claims areas.
