Africa-Press – Cape verde. All 10 families directly affected by the fire at the Nova Sintra Shopping Center on Brava Island have already received financial support, the government assured today through the Ministry of Family, Inclusion, and Social Development (MFIDS).
According to the MFIDS, the government made available 1,350 contos (Brazilian currency), ensuring income recovery and protecting local economic activity.
“Today, all 10 families have received their support—the essentials have been guaranteed: the dignity and hope of Brava families are being rebuilt,” it stated.
It’s worth noting that this support had already been announced by Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva.
