Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Government opened a competition for the design and development of an Internet portal that allows companies to be created instantly, the first phase of which should be completed by the end of the year.
The portal “must cover the entire life cycle of a company”, including “creation of companies under the simplified regime, registration of companies under the normal regime”, requests for certificates and changes to the social pact, states in the tender notice.
The tool will replace trips to public offices and its development has entered the application analysis phase.
The selected firm must develop more than a dozen software modules, each responsible for a set of services, such as requests for commercial certificates or the processing of electronic signatures.
At the same time, these modules must have links to the different entities involved: National Institute of Social Security (INPS), General Labor Inspectorate (IGT), National Press of Cape Verde (INCV) and Institute for Business Support and Promotion (Pro-Empresa ).
The project has support from the World Bank and is part of the digital transformation strategy of public services in Cape Verde.
